Right in the heart of Christopher Creek. Across the street from the Creekside Tavern and a short walk from Christopher Creek in the Tonto National Forest. Parking available for up to 4 vehicles. There is a fairly steep hill coming into the property that can necessitate a 4 wheel drive in the winter if there is snow on the ground or freezeing weather.

Summary: Our family has been wanting to go camping for a while and this property is exactly what we were looking for. The location is secluded enough to make you feel 'remote', without actually being remote. The camper is beautiful and comes with everything needed to have a great family weekend. All you have to do is show up and relax. The only downside is that the mattress on the master bed is extremely hard and my husband found it very uncomfortable to sleep on. This would not deter us from another trip, but it is something we would compensate for by bringing some type of comforter or topper to make it more manageable. The other challenge is that the screens on the windows are not air tight, so you do get small knats and flys. This was not a big deal to us. We expected bugs because we were 'camping' and we brought a fly swatter for this reason. However, if bugs are not your 'cup of tea' I would recommend one of the many other cabins at the Creekside property. We will definitely return to this location!
