The property has been painstakingly designed to take full advantage of the lake and mountain panorama and sunny position with the living area, private balcony and garden terrace basking in the sunlight so you can enjoy lake view dining in the sun and balmy evenings on the balcony or terrace watching the sun go down over the lake.

The lake front and village are accessible on foot (approximately a 20 minute walk down to the village) hence we recommend hiring a car for stays here at

Neighbourhood description
Varenna is a picturesque and traditional village, located on the eastern shore of Lake Como, Italy and an essential location for anyone wishing to visit one of the most typical, pretty villages of the lake with some quirky, cobbled side walks in the village below and in the upper part of the town.
Featuring some excellent restaurants serving authentic italian fayre, bars, ice cream parlours, gift shops as well as some pretty boutiques with artisan leather goods, silks and ceramics.
Regular serviced ferry stop at which you can take a short trip across to Bellagio, Menaggio and many other stops including the City of Como.
Taxi boats as well as boat hire are both available in the village.
Varenna boasts it's own train station convenient for guests wishing to visit Milan for the day.
The village offers supermarkets, Italian deli style shops to pick up local produce plus a weekly market every Wednesday, 8-1pm
Many nice bars for you to enjoy an aperitif, whilst watching the sunset or unwind, crack open a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down from your private balcony.
A children's playground (as featured in our photo file) is availble for children in the village.
Local sights such as Villa Cipressi with beautiful botanical gardens or take a walk up to the Castello di Vezio a well worth a visit.
Hiking up into the hills is also a favourite pastime with some of our guests.
We live and work here on the lake and know the area inside out so will be delighted to recommend places to visit, restaurants etc to ensure you get the very most from your stay.
