Negative: Getting the security code was not a good experience at all. We had made the reservation the day before, got our identity confirmed via email, had our credit card pay for the rental, but did not receive the security code. After reaching out to Carolina Cabin Reservations (on our way to the cabin), they required us to make a photo with my photo id, and text it to them. This was to verify our identity for security reasons, which I appreciate. However, our identity had already been confirmed by booking.com the day before. While we enjoyed the cabin and had a wonderful weekend, the process of getting in the cabin and getting the security code was not streamlined. Not sure of the relationship between booking.com and Carolina Cabin Reservations, but the communication breakdown seemed to have happened between those two offices. Do not let this prevent you from booking this cabin. It was a wonderful place, and the owners do an incredible job making you feel at home. Hopefully this situation can be rectified in the future for other renters.
