New listing! This charming 3BR/2BR home is less than a mile to San Marco Square & 5 minutes from Downtown Jax. Great location for tourists, business travelers, couples or groups. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques. Take the water taxi across the St. Johns River for a concert or to see the Jags play! Washer + Dryer, fast WiFi, Netflix included. Baptist Medical Center, Wolfson Children's Hospital, Nemours Children's Specialty Clinic and Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center <2 miles away.
This historic home was built in 1939 and features the original hardwood floors with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Our fully-furnished space has everything you need for a comfortable stay including linens, towels, kitchen essentials, wifi, and more. The home sleeps 8 comfortably - 2 in each bedroom and 2 in the daybed with trundle located in the office. Washer and dryer provided. New AC Aug. 2019. There are two full bathrooms - one full sized with a double vanity and bathtub/shower, while the other is a quaint, small bathroom with a vanity sink and small shower only. The outdoor patio in the backyard is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or to relax in the evening with a glass of wine.
Guests have access to the entire house and yard. Parking allowed in the driveway or on the street if needed. The driveway is long and goes all the way back near the back yard, so you can pull in your car and/or bikes, etc. into the driveway and close the gate behind you for added privacy/security. The detached garage houses some of our maintenance items for the home and landscaping and is not accessible to guests.
Quiet, quaint neighborhood nestled right between two popular areas, San Marco and Jacksonville's Southside. Easy walk or bike ride to excellent dining, shopping, local coffee shops and breweries, night life, and entertainment.

Summary: The property was very nice, and it had everything that guest would need to enjoy themself. I would have given the property a 5.0 across the board except for thre reaso: - the back door was open when I check in the property, which freak my wife out. - The second shower in the main bedroom was pretty small - the outdoor grill did seem to want to light, not sure if the propane was out or if the grill need service.
