Positive: We visited at a less ideal time, with very cold and windy weather in the middle of the week, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the outdoors as we had hoped. The restaurant was also closed during our stay, so we ended up staying mostly inside our room. We did order breakfast to the room in advance, which was simple and nice. The house is spacious and convenient, just keep in mind the furnishings and bedding are quite simple and not hotel-like. The host was great and very flexible, even though we arrived later than planned. The outdoors and the lake look beautiful, and we would have loved to enjoy them more in better weather. Worth checking in advance whether the restaurant and breakfast service are available during your stay.
