Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is as central as it gets which is the best feature of this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the free car park adds extra value for people arriving by car in such a central location. Bed was clean and with fresh linen. Overall ok for a couple of nights.
Negative: The whole building is visibly tired and in desperate need of renovation. Our room had fridge and cooking facilities but no pans, stoneware or cutlery (why?). The carpet in the corridors is visibly worn out and dirty. The corridors to reach the rooms at the back have not received draft/clean air in a long time and smelled bad, which is a bad first impression before you reach your room.
Summary: Ok for a one-two night stay
