Simple living at this peaceful & centrally-located home in the established, quiet neighborhood of Murray Hill. This entirely renovated bungalow offers everything needed for a getaway or business trip. 2 mile drive to the Shoppes of Avondale, 3.5 miles to Historic Five Points, & 7 miles to San Marco Square. Many restaurants/bars/outdoor cafe dining all within a short drive/Uber. Beach?A quick 30 min drive. Airport? 20 mins away. NAS? 10 mins.
We wanted to create a space where guests could feel comfortable on vacation. We often found ourselves renting places but not spending much time there besides sleeping because, well, it felt like as temporary as it was. When designing this space, we tried to think through all of our experiences as travelers and fill those gaps that we had been experiencing.
This home was fully renovated in 2022 and offers a full kitchen, bathroom, and W/D. You have a private parking spaces as well. The neighborhood is mature, quiet, and walkable for a morning stroll. This 2BR home is 940 square feet. It has an uncovered back patio with seating to enjoy the Florida weather, if it's not blistering hot! It has a complete kitchen stocked with all cooking pans and utensils needed to create a meal. Complete with an electric stove, microwave, pots and pans, and dish ware. There are 2 queen size beds, a walk-in shower and closet. The living room is furnished with Article sofa & chairs to watch the 55' Roku TV, read a book from the collection, or play a board game.
In addition to being so centrally located there are several major health care facilities, St. Vincent's Hospital, Baptist Medical Center and the world renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center just 5-10 minutes away and TIAA Field is about 10-15 as well.
This home was built and 1950 and while it was heavily renovated in 2022, it's still very much a 72 year old home. Full of charm and character, but please be gentle!
