Positive: We had a truly wonderful stay in Samothraki and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The houses are brand new, beautifully designed, fully equipped, and exceptionally clean. We were two families of four, staying in both houses, and there was more than enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed spending time together on the terrace. There is plenty of space for everyone, making it the perfect place to relax, eat, talk, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. But what made our stay truly special was our host, Dimitra. She was absolutely wonderful! She welcomed us so warmly and went far beyond what you would normally expect from a host. She gave us so much useful information about the island, including local events, beautiful places to visit, beaches, waterfalls, and great tavernas. She was always available and incredibly helpful, responding to any questions or requests at any time. Her kindness, hospitality, and genuine care made us feel like much more than just guests. I have travelled around Europe and have stayed in many different places, but I can honestly say that I have rarely met such a lovely, kind, and welcoming person and Airbnb host. Dimitra made our experience even more memorable. And then there is Samothraki itself, a truly wonderful island for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and authentic places. We really enjoyed exploring the beaches, waterfalls, villages, and local tavernas. There is something very special and unspoiled about the island. The only thing I would mention is the wind, it can be quite strong! But if you are a surfer or kitesurfer, this is probably not a disadvantage at all… this is definitely your place! 😊 We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return.
