Solus is an exclusive 5 acre country side lake ranch property, solely built for vacation goers to experience Florida's natural living in a unique and breathtakingly picturesque environment, yet only five minutes from Florida's I95 highway, and 15 minutes to downtown Sebastian, Indian River, and Sebastian Inlet State Park.
Nothing else compares to Solus in terms of details taken to please the widest range and tastes of all types. Boasting three full bed rooms, two full baths, five queen beds, and a king bed, there are comfortable sleeping accommodations for 10 guests.
This is not a typical vacation rental house. When you arrive, you will immediately realize you have arrived to a special place, especially at night, as you will be welcomed by the hundreds of landscape lights throughout the property. You will pull into the custom built 400 ft long fencing with signage, where you will enter a large circular drive. Off to the side, the included Boat/RV parking area is for any guests enjoyment. After parking in the main driveway you will notice the basketball hoop as you step out of your vehicle into pure unfiltered Florida nature, surrounded by peace and quite.
Entering the main living areas, you will find the custom hand carved wooden canoe, hanging above the vaulted ceilings in the main living area. A full two car garage, fully accompanied kitchen and dining for up to 10 guests, real top grain leather furniture, 80" smart TV with surround sound, bar seating, full size washer and dryer, and much more for your enjoyment. Each bedroom boasts 55" smart TV's with Netflix, You Tube TV, and Roku. Two Queen beds in each guest room in both the green and copper room, respectively. The master boasts a King bed. The Solus house is fully equipped to offer you and your guests every comfort of home, plus more.
As special as the inside of Solus is, the outside area is one of a kind, and can't be replicated. Just off the main dining room is a fully screened in porch, boasting yet another 55" outdoor TV and handmade Bar with custom barstools, mini fridge and freezer, as well as color changing LED lights throughout, and multiple rocking chairs.
A pristine crystal clear, natural well fed, one acre private lake, greets your senses and calms you immediately, even from inside the house.
In the immediate back yard there are custom poured cement steps leading to multiple seating and dining areas, including numerous rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs, a propane firepit, propane and charcoal cooking grills, picnic tables with seating for 12, covered gazebo and deck, and finally the star of the property- the custom built "bridge to nowhere".
Our secret bridge is nearly 100' long and spans the entire width of the lake. Covered in hundreds of feet of color changing string lights, the bridge to nowhere, as well as the entire back yard oasis, are truly a places everyone loves to be, both day and night.
The back yard area was skillfully designed to welcome anyone who loves nature, with a touch of luxury, without loosing the feel of real Florida at its core. So many have commented on the back yard area of Solus, that it has inspired bookings for wedding venues, birthday parties, family reunions, business parties, and special occasion celebrations, among others. Our private one acre lake is stocked with bass, brim, and other native fishes, and guests have free range of fishing, swimming, and kayaking.
Additionally, if fishing and or the outdoors are your calling, you have found the right place, as Solus is only fifteen minutes from world class freshwater lakes and Bass fishing, including the Stick Marsh, Headwaters, and Blue Cypress Lake.
Also, only fifteen minutes away, is the world famous Indian River, including downtown Sebastian, multiple boat ramps, and waterfront dining with great food and entertainment year round. Sebastian Inlet State Park is also a must see while in the area. The Atlantic Ocean and white sand beaches, just to the East, are all within range of Solus, in under 30 minutes. Multiple grocery stores, hardware stores, and convenience stores are all withing a short 10 minute drive, although you will forget all that exists once you are here. Here you are free in a way you can only realize once you arrive.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house, and the entire property, other than the private drive that is labeled. The lake is available for kayaking, swimming, and fishing. When you book at Solus, you get the entire house, lake, and property, as described above. Entry is controlled by a keypad.
Other things to note
Parking for boats and RV's are permitted. Specific pets are permitted on a case by case basis. Ask hosts prior to arrival about both.
