Positive: The lakehouse was in a little cove, we enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught catfish, sunfish and even one bass. There are giant catfish in the cove which my daughter tried for but we didn't bring strong enough fishing line for. The stairs are not to bad for a lake house which is one of the reasons we picked it also it had plenty of room to fit everyone. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, relaxing, playing games and even made smores over the firepit when it was storming. The house was well stocked with everything you need so you don't need to bring anything extra, although you may have to go to one side or the other to find it, even had a wine opener. Yay. We did have a major storm that came through and knocked out the power at 9pm and did not come back on til 3pm the next day but we was thankful that we was down in a little cove as a mile away there was a lot of damage from downed trees. The communication from the owners was awesome. They checked on the power company and kept us informed on the situation. This is not the perfect lakehouse, but would we go back, absolutely.
Negative: There are maintenance issues that need to be addressed which we let the owners know. There was also a few cleaning issues. The owner thanked me for letting them know as without the direct feedback to them they might have been kept in the dark.
