Spacious with a great view of Mt. Adams and Underwood Cliffs, this two room house (open plan), plus bathroom, has all the amenities. Sit up bar, patio right off the great room, garden with juicy blackberry and strawberry patch. The bedroom is huge, big desk, closet. There is big tiled shower and washer/dryer in the bathroom.
Located on quiet acreage on the 'cusp of the country', the studio is walking distance to three wineries (Cathedral Ridge Marchesi and Hood River Wineries) as well as hiking and mountain biking trails in the world famous Post Canyon. It is also a 6 minute trip to the Columbia River Gorge and downtown Hood River.
The studio itself is three rooms (great room, bedroom and bathroom) totaling 880 square feet of open floor plan with large sliding glass doors opening on a 20 by 20 concrete patio with pastured views looking out on Mt. Adams and the cliffs of Underwood, Washington. The kitchen is an open floorplan with living area and loads of counters as well as a sit up island for entertaining. Hardwood floors, carpet and tile, dress the inside with vaulted ceilings to 13 feet high for a real feeling of spaciousness. This is a very comfortable, private and sunny space... as laid back as it gets. Note: Check out time 12 noon. Check in time 4PM

Summary: My husband and I stayed here for 9 glorious days.The studio is as pictured; two spacious rooms and a bath with a patio.And it’s spotlessly clean.The bed and pillows were very comfortable.Plenty of hot water.Large capacity washer and dryer.Open glass sliding doors and the front door and you have lots of fresh air flowing through.And the view is amazing from the patio.There is a nice parking area close to studio too which upon arrival a personalized welcome sign was on privacy fence so we would know where to park.While the studio is nestled between the main house and a cottage with a permanent tenant,it is very private.This is much appreciated. After a busy day taking in all that Hood River has to offer coming back to the studio was a delight.If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again.Thank you John and Allison.
