The living room features a flat screen TV, cable and private highspeed WIFI internet (100 mgps down, 1.2TB data). The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and updated. Directly above #422 is a roof top patio which has a fantastic, 360 degree view of the Florida Keys and Atlantic Ocean!
Summer Seas is located at MM 88.5, 68 miles from Miami, in the Heart of Islamorada, "The Fishing Capital of the World". You may see manatees that frequent the marina area. Rent or bring kayaks and launch from our private kayak ramp. Relax in a hammock or lounge chairs on our sandy point area that also features a fire pit where you can enjoy an evening fire after experiencing Florida Keys famous sun sets! Summer Seas has a beautiful large swimming pool, heated and cooled, and a second kids swimming pool. Other amenities include a marina, fish cleaning station, boat docks, boat ramp, exercise room, adult game room, kids game room, Laundry rooms and free community Wi-Fi! Fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, bicycling, dining, and shopping are all nearby. Note: Renters are not allowed to have boats on the property as per Summer Sea Condominium's Rules.
There are 3 restaurants within walking distance. Across the street is the City Hall Cafe which is a great neighborhood hangout! This cafe is a great place for lunch or dinner and has the largest selection of bottled beer in the upper Keys! MEAT Eatery and Taproom is just down the street, MM88 . This unique burger joint was voted the Best Burger in Florida in 2014, 3015 and 2016! It was also featured on Food Networks " Diners, Drive ins and Dives"! Marker 88 Restaurant is also a short walk away and has been a Keys Tradition since 1967. This great beachside restaurant has fine dining, live music and amazing sun sets! A shopping plaza is about 3 miles away which has a very nice grocery store, cinema, restaurants, pharmacy, gift store, and more! John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is 12 miles away where park visitors can enjoy snorkeling, sight-seeing, and scuba diving trips. They also have kayak rentals where you can explore the mangroves. It was the first underwater park in the United States and has approximately 78 nautical square miles of beautiful coral reefs and mangrove swamps. Theatre of the Sea is a marine mammal adventure park and is only 6 miles away. They have eco tours, shows, swim with the dolphins, sting rays and sea lions. Feeding the tarpon at Robbie's Marina is another local favorite. Robbie's also has some shops, dining and fishing charters. Lorelei Restaurant and Bar is a great place to dine, listen to live music or watch a magic show, while viewing the spectacular sunsets over the bay!
