Summary: First impressions varied. The exterior is deceiving a bit, but the interior has been renovated and is nice. There was a hiccup during check-in but that was due to previous patrons who caused the cleaners an extended time for cleaning. Upon checking in, i did a run down comparison on the amenities and a few things were missing. I contacted the owner and he was very responsive and ordered the items ASAP. All communications with the owner was done in a timely manner and positively. We enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and one teenager. My parents (aged 69) and my sister (health issues) and her hunband stayed in the upsatirs bedrooms, my daughter, my husband and I took the rooms downstairs. We took the master bedroom and my daughter stayed in the study-like room.My husband and brother-in-law are (finicky) handymen/carpenters so they were quick to point out flaws but it didn't damper our stay besides my daughter changing her mind about staying in the loft room but there were enough rooms for that. I hope the suggestions we shared with the owner are highly considered to improve the stay of future guests.
