Positive: Thimble cottage was really cosy with a very good oil fired central heating system so that it was always warm even in the winter. The cottage was located on the edge of Hartland village within easy walking distance up a steep hill to the village centre. It had a large double bedroom on the ground floor with a comfortable king sized bed. The bathroom had both a bath and shower. The kitchen on the first floor was well equipped and had plenty of worktop space.
