Positive: We visited the very well-equipped Tiny House Ash in January 2026.
It is a lovely location near the village of Horea. Once you get there, you really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere – in the best possible way. It is so special: the perfect place to relax, calm down, and enjoy nature. At night you can hear the owls while you are resting in the hot tub. No cars, no lights, just pure peace. In the mornings, a little friendly dog with short legs sometimes came by to say good morning, which was absolutely adorable. Tom and his wife are the friendliest and most helpful hosts we have ever met. They and their friends made our stay truly wonderful and unforgettable. Tom helped us with every question we had. When we got stuck in the snow with our car – completely our own fault – Tom’s friend Petre came to rescue us. Otherwise we would have been lost in the woods. We are so grateful for that! Petre’s wife Mihaela cooks the best food – it was absolutely amazing.
We are very much looking forward to visiting again!
