Positive: Location - great walking from the doorstep as well as easy access to nearby villages with other walks. Own, off-road parking space. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Lounge space and furniture was very comfy. Nice to have new, ample crockery and cooking pots.

Negative: Mattress on bed in room with en-suite shower will need replacing soon. It is worth noting that the Front Courtyard seating is roadside although, generally, Burnsall is a quiet village.

Summary: Very welcoming hosts and comfortable accommodation
