Villa Astra is located in the residential area of Cala Granu, near Porto Cervo Marina and the beach of Cala Granu. Standing in a dominant position, it has a magnificent view of the crystal clear waters of the Sardinian sea. The private pool and cascading fountains enjoy the same splendid view. The villa offers absolute peace and ensures maximum privacy. It has large outdoor areas in a garden that blends in with the surrounding nature and typical vegetation of Mediterranean essences and herbs. The large verandas offer privacy and outdoor living where guests can partake of pleasant meals and enjoy, in the summer months, the fresh scent of the sea. The villa also has two covered parking spaces.
Interior:
From the automatic vehicle entrance gate, a short flight of steps leads to the garden in front of the villa. The path leads to the veranda and pool area, both with sea view. The sliding French window leads directly into the living room, elegantly furnished with beautiful sofas and an ornamental fireplace. On the opposite side of the sitting area is the dining area with crystal table and chairs facing out onto the veranda with sea view. The hallway leads to the well-equipped kitchen with accessories and utensils and then directly out to the covered veranda with barbecue, perfect for cool summer meals. The hallway in the living area leads up two steps to the sleeping area consisting of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and faces out onto the veranda and pool with sea view. The additional sleeping area, the smallest one, can be reached through an internal staircase located next to the kitchen which leads to the lower floor (basement) and has a divisible double bed and a bathroom with shower.
Park:
The 1.500 sq m well-kept garden is predominantly lawn with sea view, pool and wet bar that complete the park. It contains typical plants of the Mediterranean scrub and of Sardinia. The large veranda facing the sea, accessed from the living room, is organized with a dining area and a seating area. The back veranda has another dining area with brick barbecue. Near the pool is an outdoor wet bar next to a third relaxation area.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The irregular-shaped pool is located on the same level as the villa and can be reached from both the main bedroom and the living area; it is about 50 sq m with the depth varying from 1 to 2 m. and has a steps and ladder for the access to the water. It is lined in sky-blue mosaic and has chlorine purification. The edge is in travertine and borders with the lawn sunbathing area which is equipped with deckchairs. The pool area is completed by a raised tub in mosaic with a cascade, an adjacent wet bar and a cold-water shower. The pool is available from the first Saturday of June to the last of September and has a cold water shower.
Pets: On request. Only small and medium size.50 euro per animal per week. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
