Summary: My husband and I and another couple had a wonderful relaxing time at Villa Iris. Antonio was there to meet us and showed us on the local map all the best places to visit. Then he gave us a tour of the spacious villa. We especially loved the big pool. Always refreshing in the heat to take a swim to cool off. There is an outdoor bathroom and kitchen with a huge stone bbq. The covered patio is great to sit in under the hot sun. Both of our husbands love to cook so we had great bbq meals made with charcoal. There is also a gas stove top beside the bbq and a sink. The kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher and oven and stovetop. There is an air conditioning unit in the living room that cools the whole villa. The bedrooms are very spacious but the bigger bed mattresses are a bit on the hard side. But I guess maybe that is good for some people. The two twin bed mattresses were great. The outside grounds are beautiful and very private. At the entrance gates there are fig trees and cactus pears and also orange trees. We thought they were lime trees because they were green. There is also a rosemary bush at the front end of the Villa. We did our grocery shopping at Conads which is about 10 minutes away. They have everything. Wine, liquour, groceries. If we had any enquiries for Antonio he was quick to respond on WhatsApp. We would highly recommend Villa Iris for a wonderful relaxing vacation. We stayed from September 9-16 and are from Toronto Canada.
