Positive: The house was really nice. We were a bit cold because our bedroom was so far from the wood burning stove.
Negative: There was a German man who obviously lives there permanently, who was seemingly surprised by our arrival. He wasn’t particularly pleasant, I chalked it up to a language barrier. But my friend who is multilingual said, no he just wasn’t happy we were there. Kinda set a negative/uncomfortable tone for our overnight stay. The owner was very nice and accommodating. They had breakfast set out for us in the morning, which was very pleasant and appreciated.
