Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location was central, near shops & restaurants, yet quiet & peaceful. We managed to park outside every evening too. The apartment was attractive and really well equipped. The hosts, who live above, had thought of everything one could need. We would certainly recommend Casa Capon to anyone visiting that area of the Dolomites.
Negative: Scaffies emptying the bottle bank one morning at 5.30am!! A huge inconvenience to those living in San Stefano, or visiting, of course, is the road works along the 4km length of the tunnel connecting the town to the main road, which are expected to continue for another 2 years. It is closed overnight too. To avoid this, make a detour from Auronzo via the Passo Zovo and Danta - longer perhaps, but through really beautiful scenery.
Summary: A warm welcome, a comfortable stay. What more could you ask for?
