Positive: The B&B is in an absolutely fantastic central location to explore Ali Terme, right in the centre of town and a short stroll through the main square to the beach. The air conditioning was a particularly welcome blessing in the Sicilian summer! Breakfast is just a few doors down at Triolo Café and was a great opportunity to try the Sicilian-style breakfast of granita and brioscia (brioche) - though the best granita in my opinion was at the Hotel Terme Marino (you can walk but it’s uphill so driving is much easier).
Negative: The room was advertised as having two beds (a large double and a single) and a terrace but only had one double bed and didn’t have a terrace which was disappointing. Saying that, I assume I was moved because I was travelling alone and I didn’t bother to raise this with the host (who was lovely) as the accommodations were more than sufficient and I was planning (and ended up) spending most of my time out exploring. The WiFi is very patchy and I had to rely mostly on my mobile network, so make sure you have roaming enabled if you want internet.
Summary: Great location and comfortable accommodation to make the most of Ali Terme.
