Welcome to our charming Modern Farmhouse nestled on beautiful Kelleys Island, Ohio located in Lake Erie. This serene retreat offers a blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort. With one private lower level bedroom featuring a queen bed and an upstairs two-tiered loft with two queen beds and a pull out full-size sleeper sofa – our home can accommodate up to 6-7 guests, making it ideal for families or a couple groups of friends.
The open-concept living area boasts eleven foot high ceilings with barn bean accents, plenty of windows, unique glass garage door in the living space that allows the outside in and stylish décor, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. Relax in the cozy living room, complete with plush seating, 58 inch 4k TV, and a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings. The fully equipped glamour kitchen with quartz counter tops and custom built cabinets is perfect for preparing delicious meals, featuring all modern appliances and ample counter space.
The private bedroom on the main level provides a peaceful sanctuary, furnished with a comfortable queen bed, 43 inch TV, and tasteful décor. Upstairs, the unique two-tier loft offers another area to hang out and watch TV on a 50 inch 4k TV or play video games / board games or just chill in the seven foot bean bag chair while watching you favorite movie. There are additional sleeping arrangements with two queen beds and a convenient pull-out full size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. The loft area provides a versatile space for relaxing after a fun filled day on the Island.
Step outside onto the four different patios and deck available to really enjoy all that nature has to offer. Enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening while soaking up the Island ambiance. The front patio is under cover and great space to sit and watch the local bikers, runners, and golf carts pass by. The side deck is an amazing place to bask in the afternoon sun…the back patio is much more private and backs up to the protected preserves of Kelleys and a great place to sit and watch the local wild life – a bird watchers paradise as well as a gas barbecue grill make it easy to host a delightful cookout. An additional patio and gazebo space located further in the back yard for the extremely hot days were shade is required. Plenty of areas to just hang out a chill with a cold beverage. Then of course the evening bone fire – a beautiful Island themed bone fire pit available for staying up late and star gazing.
Kelleys Island offers a variety of activities to explore during your stay. Spend your days hiking or biking along the scenic trails, visit the local wineries, Art gallery, or lounging on the beautiful beaches. The island also boasts charming downtown with shops and delicious dining options.
