Positive: Villa Mida was exceptional. Simona the host went out of her way to be accommodating and allowed us to have both early check in and check out. We had 4 adults and 1 baby and the space was big enough to accommodate. We particularly liked the pool and how there were multiple seating areas (sun, shade etc) so that we could enjoy being outside whatever the weather. Definitely need a car - but very easy to get to the beach at Saint Marco (pebbles/sand but very nice) and to Naxos and Taormina.
Negative: Nothing - had an excellent stay.
